Honeywell Road, SW11, Between the commons
Honeywell Road was a full design-and-build commission for a family home off Northcote Road in Battersea.
The project included a complete refurbishment of the existing property, a new basement level, and a substantial rear extension that introduced generous glazing and dramatically improved the relationship between the house and garden.
The project was delivered in collaboration between Bloom Builders and Malone + Pike Architects, handling both design and construction as a single turnkey service.
The basement level accommodates a playroom, media room and a temperature-controlled wine cellar anchored by a 4-tonne Cornish slate bar quarried at Delabole, machined to form a flat top and moved into place by hand.
